Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) held a donation ceremony on February 12, 2025. The ceremony was officiated by Dr Roland Soong, Mrs Elaine Soong Kingman, Ir Dr Conrad Wong Tin-cheung, Council Chairman of HKMU, and Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, President of HKMU. During the event, a preview of selected items from the collection was showcased for guests and the media. These items included original manuscripts of Eileen Chang's works, correspondence with the Soong couple, personal photographs, as well as letters exchanged between Stephen Soong and other literary giants including Qian Zhongshu, reflecting his profound legacy and contributions to the cultural sphere.
