
The School of Arts and Social Sciences, University Library, Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture, and the Department of Humanities, Language, and Translation at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) jointly organized a lecture: "The era, however, seems to sink into shadows" - Eileen Chang’s Apocalypticism and Its Influence on Two Centuries of Chinese Literature, on 8 May 2025. During the event, selected items from the collection including original correspondence between Eileen Chang and the Soong couple, as well as personal photographs were displayed exclusively for registered attendees.
