The University Library, School of Arts and Social Sciences, and the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) jointly organized a lecture titled "Destined by Letters: The Preservation and Legacy of Eileen Chang, Stephen Soong, and Mae Fong Soong's Manuscripts and Relics, on 28 June 2025. This event was co-organized with the Hong Kong Library Association, the Hong Kong Archives Society, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. During the event, selected items from the collection including original correspondence between Eileen Chang and the Soong couple, as well as personal photographs were displayed exclusively for registered attendees.
