This is a speech at the Toastmasters International District 89 Division O Speaking Contest 2024. It is a Table Topics speech or impromptu speech. The contestants were randomly assigned a topic to deliver a speech in 2 minutes without preparation time. I demonstrated in my speech that “Cold Feet” could have a physical meaning or abstract meaning. Overcoming “cold feet” requires understanding the root cause of your anxiety and fear. It’s normal to feel nervous before a big event or decision but don’t let it paralyze you. Visualize positive outcomes and remind yourself of your capabilities. Keep practising. Remember, it’s okay to have doubts and fears but don’t let them control your actions. Maintain a positive attitude and believe in your ability to succeed.
