Abstract

The high Hong Kong property price index poses a challenge for individuals seeking to purchase a home, forcing them to explore alternative living arrangements. Some citizens are unable to afford to purchase a home and must wait for public housing while residing in subdivided flats. Currently, over 220,000 people reside in such units, and the problem is severe and requires urgent resolution. The effectiveness of various government measures aimed at addressing the issue remains unclear. If residents must bid farewell to such living arrangements in the future, where will they go? These are the topics explored in this film.
