學生事務處跟香港愛護動物協會(SPCA)合作，為Me&U關懷社區服務計劃「擁抱毛孩」學生團隊提供參與服務及訓練的機會，加深學生對動物福利和被遺棄動物所面對的困難的認識。學生團隊運用所學並集合於SPCA進行義工服務時的體會，策劃並拍攝影片「發光球」。 影片以毛孩的第一視點出發，描繪他們的情感需要及主人疏忽照顧所帶來的後果，並教授預防及處理毛孩走失方法，呼籲主人必須好好照顧及愛護毛孩。

Student Affairs Office partnered with the Hong Kong Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to provide "Giving a Hug" Animal Welfare Student Team of the Me&U Community Caring Programme with service & training opportunities, enhancing their understanding of animal welfare and the challenges faced by the abandoned or needy animals. Drawing upon their service experience gained at their services and training, the student team initiated the video "The Light Up Ball". The video takes the perspective of a pet, illustrating its emotional needs and the consequences of irresponsible pet ownership. It also introduces methods for preventing and coping with pet loss while urging pet owners to love and take good care of their pet.
